Centre manager

Hi, my name is Cat and I am the Centre Manager here at Maroondah Kids, I have a my Diploma of Education.

Having worked in the industry for 8 years as a room leader and in various management roles, I enjoy passing on my knowledge and experience through mentoring educators and helping them to be the best they can be.

As a mum, I know how overwhelming and stressful it can be to leave your children as you go off to work. My mission is to provide a home away from home that is a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment for you and your children. I love being able to watch children grow and see their little personalities develop and shine through. I strongly believe in the importance of not only building relationships with the children but also with families. It is by working in partnership together that we can support and guild each child in our care.

Outside of work I am very involved with the local football and netball clubs, playing both sports each week. My goal is to incorporate more opportunities for the children to engage in sporting and other physical activities. This will not only aid in their physical development but promote a sense of belonging and connectedness to our local community.

I am looking forward to getting to know both you and your children as we support each other through the joy of the early childhood journey.

Ruby Room (0-2 years old)

My name is Chin. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood and have worked with Maroondah Kids for over eight years. It was a pleasure to work with children and see them succeed in life. I'm committed to providing a healthy and welcoming environment with positive guidance partnering along with parents, families, caregivers, and the community. It is my intention to provide children with a positive role model by taking the time to understand them. Early Childhood experiences are fundamental components of a child's journey into the world.

I am committed to creating an environment where each child feels loved, safe, and secure so they can flourish.

Diamond Room (2-3 years old)

Hi, my name is Tina, I have been in the Early Childhood Industry for the past 8 years. In those years I have worked across all rooms and ages as room assistant before running the toddler's room as a room leader. Every day I carry this experience with me as I strive to care for and nurture each child as I would have wanted my children cared and nurtured for. I have loved building responsive, positive, and nurturing relationships with each child in my care and developing positive relationships with their families. I strongly believe that when a child feels comfortable and safe, they become confident at exploring, learning and growing. I'm married and have two children of my own.

During my spare time, I love baking with my children and traveling with my family and friends.
